Growing up, I learned from my mother, grandmother, and neighbors about the rewards and satisfaction that come from growing your own food right outside your door.  As a Garden Coach and Consultant in North County San Diego I enjoy teaching others how to garden joyfully so that you can enjoy the many benefits of growing healthy veggies within reach. 

In addition to being Gardenary certified, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture from UC Santa Cruz, a Masters in Special Education, and a PhD in Health Behavior and Promotion. I previously worked at California Certified Organic Farmers and managed a school community garden. Currently, if I’m not out in the garden, you can find me surfing out at one of our fine North County beaches, fostering rescued French bulldogs, or volunteering at the Park Dale Lane Elementary school gardens.
